There are some important decisions that have to be made before you cast your vote in the June 5, 2018, election. In District 11, the big race concerning most is the San Francisco Mayoral race. There are also a number of local measures. And, the statewide races will eliminate all but the top two candidates.  

ENDORSEMENT MEETING: Become informed regarding the propositions and candidates on the June 5, 2018, Primary Election ballot. We are inviting San Francisco Citywide candidates and the representatives from the proposition campaigns to our membership endorsement meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. at 6:30 pm at Henry's Hunan Restaurant at 4753 Mission Street. You do not need to be a member to attend, listen to candidates and ask questions. In order to vote on endorsements, you must become a member by March 11, 2018. You can join here. April 11, 2018. at 6:30 pm at Henry's Hunan Restaurant at 4753 Mission Street. Eddie will again be offering us a special $12 prix fixe price for a delicious and filling family dinner. No-Host Bar available.

MEMBERS: Regular dues-paying members are eligible to vote on endorsements. Regular members can pay their dues on the spot to be eligible to vote on endorsements. New members who joined and paid dues 30 days ago (by or before March 11, 2018) are also eligible to vote. Members may sit in on the eboard endorsement interviews on March 18, 2018, as space allows, but any questions for candidates must be submitted to the President first. 

CANDIDATES & CAMPAIGNS: Please follow the directions below to qualify for an endorsement opportunity. After April 11, our endorsements will be posted on our website, in a half-page ad in the Ingleside-Excelsior Light, a print/web newspaper and in a door hanger for precinct distribution in District 11.  

• First, submit a completed questionnaire (available as a .docx and a PDF file) by March 11, 2018. Please follow the directions on the questionnaire regarding submission.
• Second, link to reserve a preferred time between 10:00 and 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 18 for the eboard interviews.
