On August 19, 2018, Executive board members spent the day interviewing candidates, listening to presentations on measures, and asking a lot of questions. Although some recommendations were unanimous, some required considerable discussion and were by majority vote. We don't always agree, but we do have serious respectful discussions based on our own research, questionnaire responses, and our interviews.

The District 11 Council and the S.F. District 11 Democratic Club are co-sponsoring a Town Hall on Saturday, September 8 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center, 650 Capital Avenue in the Ingleside neighborhood. Candidates are welcome to set up a space with their literature and interact with the public. Each candidate will also be able to address the public briefly. Representatives for measures pro and con are also invited to present. All members of the public are welcome.

Innediately after the Town Hall, members in good standing of the S.F. D11 Democratic Club can sign in and receive a ballot. A 60% majority vote is the threshold for candidate endorsement by the D11 Dems. This will be the Club's final endorsement for the November 6 General Election. Members in good standing are members as of August 8, 2018 or before with paid dues. Continuing members can pay their dues, if needed, and become eligible to vote.
